How do you know you need a new roof?
If your roof or dwelling displays any of these traits then getting a roof inspection is a wise decision.
A quality inspection will determine the lifespan and current status of your roof.
The edges of your shingles are starting to curl
You are missing several shingles after every storm and the ones you find in your yard are brittle
You have more shingle granules in your gutter than on your shingles
You have no, or inadequate, attic ventilation
Your shingle roof is more than 15 years old
You have brown spots on your ceiling drywall in several rooms of your home. Or, you have active water leaks each time it rains in several rooms of your home
Your metal roof is missing screws or some have backed out. This may not require a new roof, but does warrant an inspection
Nail pops are common on shingle roofs, this is when the head of a nail pops through the shingle. Again, this may not require a new roof, but does warrant an inspection
